Following the successful Leadership Forum at ACEC‘06, ACCE will again bring together key leaders and decision makers in the education and ICT field for a workshop. At the previous forum the paper on Leadership and Multi literacies that was created has been a cornerstone for many of the political, both state and federal, decisions during the past two years.
This is an opportunity not to be missed. The forum will have limited numbers. It costs $55 to
attend (includes lunch) and is on Thursday 2 October from 12.30pm-4pm. See Register Here for registration details.
The Leadership Forum topic for 2008 is: Standards: We Need Them!
The purpose of the forum is to provide direction about the need for student and teacher ICT standards across Australia. The rationale for this important topic is the many approaches to the development of standards occurring at an international, national, state and local level; this session provides an opportunity for participants to contribute to the debate about ICT standards in Australia.
The program for the Leadership Forum will be published shortly.
The topic for the Leadership Forum held at ACEC 2006 in Cairns was:
Future scenarios for ICTs in learning - A resolution for personal action amongst a professional community of leadership
