Prof. Margaret Cox

Professor Margaret Cox (proudly sponsored by the Australian Computer Society)

Margaret was the Director of the Computers in the Curriculum project in the UK, and Professor of Educational Computing at King's College London. She is a contributing editor of the International Handbook of Information Technology in Primary and Secondary Education.

Margaret Cox has worked in the field of ICT in Education for more than 35 years as a developer of educational software and asa researcher into the impact of ICT on teaching and learning. She has trained teachers to become IT teachers in secondary schools.

Margaret Cox is currently working on several major research projects including an investigation of interactions between students' "out of school" use of IT and "in-school" learning.
