CALL FOR PAPERS
is now open..
Everyone is Meeting
Many of the conference teams are meeting to plan out the scope of their activities, gather all the data required for decision making and enjoying the relaxed nature of such meetings, with a beer in hand. All groups will be able to report substantial progress to the extended conference community.
"ITs up here for thinking" is the overall conference theme.
- Leadership and Management
- ICTs across the curriculum
- ICTs in regional, rural and remote areas
- Information Management
- Computing Studies
We are likely to require refereed papers by the end of February 2006. Our academic colleagues will be delighted to know that the fully refereed section meets all the requirements for gaining DEST points. This includes quality refereeing to DEST standards and the issue of an ISBN number along with written confirmation of the refereed status of your paper. In addition, the best papers will be considered for inclusion in a special double issue of the national journal, 'Australian Educational Computing', thereby offering further points and a wider audience for your work.
The next opportunity for this will be the "One Year Out Party". This working day and social gathering will involve the whole conference committee and supporters, plus our valued sponsors. It will acknowledge the work done to date and what still needs to be achieved.
