ACEC 2006 Planning Meeting - One Year Out
It's a working party, but we will have some fun.
On Saturday October 1, 2005, the ACEC 2006 Conference teams will host a working conference to plan major strategic components of the conference. This weekend is one-year out from the main event, and is a major milestone in the organisation.
The key purposes of the full day meeting are:
For conference teams to use the time to work together on major tasks and with other teams. For example the technical teams and promotions teams need time to work with each committee.
To enable stakeholders in the conference to provide input into program design, pre-conference workshops designs, strategic forums and other conference events.
Specific tasks will include:
To finalise the Call for Papers and pre-conference workshops
Setting up a process to handle speakers, especially their technical requirements
